Sheet Music | Images of Mogador

$75.00

Images of Mogador for Harp, Flute, and Viola
Score and Harp Part, Flute Part, Viola Part

"Images of Mogador" is in three movements for harp, flute, and viola.

The first, "Trance Music" is earthy, rhapsodic, and rhythmic. It is an adaptation of native African music that is so popular in Morocco (Mogador).

"From the Minaret" attempts to capture the sincerity, passion, and mystery of faith that can be witnessed and heard daily from the many profoundly beautiful mosques that are found throughout the country.

"Le Souk" is a perpetual motion tour and shopping spree through the marketplace in Marrakesh.  The excitement, unpredictability, and colorful, sometimes clashing "bargaining" dialogue are all in evidence in this virtuosic closing movement.
